You have the right to a safe workplace. The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 requires that employers provide a danger-free workplace. OSHA also requires that employers provide workplace safety training. You can also ask your employer to remedy any unsafe situations in your workplace. If your employer fails to do so, you should file a complaint with OSHA and ask OSHA to inspect your workplace. You can also file a complaint with OSHA if your employer retaliates against your for complaining about an unsafe workplace.
